What is holistic psychotherapy?
Holistic therapy is an integrative approach that means looking at the "whole" person; mind, body and spirit, and the connections to emotional and physical wellness. As a holistic therapist, I guide clients to look at their lives from a bird's eye view, without judgment. My belief is that healing depends on working towards balance and harmony in all areas of our lives, from nutrition to relationships, financial health to physical health, spirituality and a sense of connectedness with self and the universe.
As a psychotherapist, I am able to support clients in healing emotional pain and trauma from the past, as well as provide tools and education on how to become more aware of patterns and resistances that hold them back from finding inner peace, satisfaction and well-being in their lives.
What is coaching?
My holistic approach to working with clients naturally incorporates the more action-focused,mindful tools of coaching. Simply stated, coaching focuses on change and action in the present moment. It addresses current challenges and imbalances and supports a client through roadblocks by asking the questions that help create a plan of action. Together we form a "tool box" that leads to a reduction of symptoms and a feeling of being empowered.
Do you take insurance?
Payment in full is requested at the time of service. I am happy to furnish clients with the necessary form to be submitted to their individual insurance carrier on a monthly basis.
